100 Days Left in 2018

Tomorrow marks the last 100 days of 2018. Can you BELIEVE

It’s such a good time to check in, because this is the fastest part of the year. Before you know it, I’ll be ringing in 2019 with some bubbly Martinellis. 100 days is plenty of time to make significant progress, but it takes some planning and recommitting.

Secure 2018 has been seriously SO AMAZING. It was absolutely the right word and it has shaped the year nicely. Honestly I don’t think I would have survived. Secure stretched me. I wasn’t really sure what it meant or ~how to ~do it. Now I do. It is fully fleshed out to me now, and I’m really happy to say it’s a core value. I have 100 more days to really secure SECURE, ya know?

This was a really good year to try the Lara Casey Powersheets, and one of the best things about it is the categorized evaluations that help you really assess progress and weak points. From there you can update your goals each season. Here’s the cliff notes version of my goals for the last 100 days of 2018.

#1. Spiritually Secure

It’s time to reintroduce the temple. I dropped this goal two months into the year when anxiety made it incredibly unpleasant. I’m ready and I’m going to go back.

#2. Mentally Secure

My goal is to phase out therapy by the end of the year! I love it and it’s worked beautifully for me. So beautifully that I’m running out of material!

#3. Marriage Secure

We have had our monthly dates without fail, but they’ve gotten decidedly casual and last-minute. I want the last three monthly dates to be dedicated, romantic, and high quality.

#4. Home Secure

I am so happy with where my home is right now. I want to ring in the one year anniversary of our home on November 29th with no more piles, no more “one day I’ll…” They will have to get done or get gone. Fall detox & cleaning will commence when I get back from Disneyland!

#5. Health Secure

I’m slowly working through Intuitive Eating and loving it. It’s affecting the way I eat, exercise, sleep, dress, and even complete my beauty routine. My plan is to finish the book, and truly enjoy every workout, meal, and dessert for the whole of this three month long holiday season!

#6. Family Secure

Asking myself “Is this what’s best for ~my little family?” I don’t have to cater to anyone else’s wills or convenience. My family comes first.

#7. Finances Secure

I haven’t yet done a No Eating Out Challenge in 2018 and I’m also not where I want to be on our financial goals for the year. Last week I reconfigured our budget and I’m planning a No Eating Out Challenge for November. It’ll be easy once I have Chrissy’s Cravings 2!!!! #birthday

#8. Reese & Malone

Lately I’ve been able to get Reese to actually sit and read with me, and her behavior that day was dramatically better. She’s realized it’s attention and it helps her so much! We’re also working on daily chores (she feeds Coco and lets him out) and for Loney? Just enjoying her.

#9. Recreation

Since I hit my reading goal back in August I decided to shoot for 50 books in 2018. I’m also going to craft something so please pray for me.

#10. Self Care

I am currently working on a self care blog series (stay tuned!) and I’m going to get dressed more and plan my outfits using an app LOL lol. I’m so excited!! I love clothes and fashion and I’ve really been missing it. Plus it makes me feel 100 emoji.

I am so genuinely pumped for the last 100 days of this most important year. I’m happy that these goals reflect the progress I’ve already made and get me where I want to be to start 2019. Three months – three great months – to love and enjoy and thrive! Get it get it.
