One time on Twitter people were sharing topics that they could talk about, without interruption, no prep, for 5+ minutes. I’ve also heard of people having dinner parties where everyone comes with a 5 minute Powerpoint to teach everyone about something they know really well.
I freaking love this idea, obviously.
I routinely trap my friends into stuff like this anyways, completely without warning. If you’re my friend you always run the risk of waking up to a 500 word text wall or a 15 minute Marco Polo that I sent at 1:45 am. All my friends gotta use Do Not Disturb.
So if it came down to it and I had to filibuster for some reason, here is the exhaustive list of topics I think I could talk about, at a moment’s notice, for at least 5 minutes.

Basically this is a list of things not to bring up around me unless you want me to climb on a soapbox and block all the exits.

Ok, I do want your soapbox beyond all soap boxes POV on charter schools. I’m anti public schools. Like, over my (literal) dead body will my kids be going to a public school. So that leaves charter, private, or homeschool. Since we ain’t rollin in dolla dolla bills private is out. So its charter or homeschool. I cant decide if I have the wearwithall to do homeschooling. I need to know all your Charter school thoughts. Feel free to send me the polo at 1:38 AM. Thank you in advance.
