About Me

Hi!!! Welcome. My name is Danica Anne Holdaway. I am currently (as of April 2016) 26 years old, blond, and a mom. I graduated from BYU in 2012, taught junior high social science for 4 years, got a masters degree from Western Governor’s University in 2015 and then “retired.” Now I’m a SAHM, blogger, aspiring author (ew) and freelance writer. I write SEO articles for blogs and businesses, edit & ghostwrite all kinds of stuff (copy, manuals, and books so far), and I’m working on my own novel which is certain to be terrible. In between all that I do a lot of reading, online shopping, gym dates, lunching around Utah County, and stopping at Sodalicious.

 I love Diet Coke and my husband – The Beard. We were married on July 22, 2011 after almost 2 years of “dating.” He served an LDS mission in Omaha Nebraska, spent some time at UVU, BYU, Flight School, and eventually DevMountain where he learned Ruby on Rails and a bunch of other coding languages. He’s a senior software engineer at Slate and spends his free time watching ungodly amounts of baseball with our babe.

We had our little chicken nugget on February 10th 2015 and named her Reese Viona. She’s the bees knees. She’s currently just over a year old and she loves books and yelling. Somehow she already has a solid sense of humor.

Reese’s favorite toy is her big brother Glen Coco. She calls him “To-To!” and basically just chases him around all day. He doesn’t mind because she’s usually dropping quite a bit of food.

I love writing about fashion, fitness, babies, motherhood, pop culture and especially Mormon/Utah culture. I am always excited to collaborate with other bloggers & companies for guest posts, giveaways and sponsorship. HMU if you wanna chat.
