Last week we had an awesome party for Harry! The Harry Potter Book Club booked a park, decorated and brought tons of yummy treats to celebrate – including this fantastic Hagrid cake which my mother-in-law made.

We had so much fun playing Harry Potter charades, dressing up the little kiddos and wearing Harry Potter tattoos!

I love these books. I love this story. And how great that I get to experience it all again with this little nugget. 

My book club has talked extensively about how to introduce it to our kids. Wait? How long? Keep the movies from them? Read it to them? Let them read it? Audiobooks on road trips? I don’t know. We’ll have to feel that out as we go. I just know that I absolutely can’t wait.
